General Terms and Conditions These terms and conditions apply to the rental of accommodation through Northern Highlights. By renting accommodation, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Booking and payment The tenant is responsible for completing the booking and making payment in accordance with the specified payment terms. Bookings made via Airbnb are subject to Airbnb’s own terms and conditions.

Cancellation and refunds Cancellation policies vary depending on the accommodation chosen. If you book through Airbnb, their cancellation policy applies. For direct bookings via Northern Highlights, separate cancellation policies apply and will be stated at the time of booking.

Use of the property The tenant undertakes to use the property responsibly and in accordance with the house rules. Any damage that occurs during the stay must be reported immediately and the tenant may be held liable for the repair costs.

Liability and insurance Northern Highlights is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the hirer or their property during their stay. It is recommended that the hirer takes out valid travel insurance.

Complaints and disputes All complaints must be reported to Northern Highlights immediately. Disputes between the tenant and the landlord should be settled amicably. However, if no agreement can be reached, the matter may be brought before the competent arbitration board or the court.
